Laposa Brut Nature

Kéknyelű is one of Badacsony’s most distinctive and characteristic grape varieties, deeply rooted in the history of the wine region. Its name, meaning “blue stalk”, refers to the characteristic bluish colour of its leaf stems. While it is best known as a still wine, its natural qualities reveal an exciting new dimension when made into sparkling wine. Its vibrant acidity, elegant character and subtle aromatics provide an excellent foundation for a refined, bone-dry sparkling wine.

Our Kéknyelű sparkling wine is made using the Méthode Charmat, with the second fermentation taking place in a pressurised tank. This is followed by an extended period of lees ageing, adding depth and a creamy texture while preserving the freshness and distinctive character of the grape variety. The result is a beautifully fine and elegant mousse, complemented by a harmonious and lingering finish.

As a Brut Nature sparkling wine, it represents the driest style, allowing the natural character of Kéknyelű to take centre stage. Crisp, precise and elegant, it showcases both one of Badacsony’s emblematic grape varieties and an exciting new expression of it.
