Volcanic characteristics, barrel, typical notes: everything that is seriously Badacsony. A real nostalgic wine according to the taste of our father that gathers people. In one bottle: dr, József Laposa the inspiration, Jenő Csiszár the name and a painter Győző Somogyi the image.
„This wine represents the big old wines with higher alcohol, masterful, mature taste and the unmistakable softness of Badacsony. We try to show the ability of the region with it – says József Laposa. The grapes come from the first own land of the Laposa parents which is a Welschriesling on the southern slopes of Badacsony.
Ripe, classical item, mostly dried fruits on the nose with a long finish in taste. We recommend for family dinners, nice conversations or even just for thinking.
Welschriesling
Quite in contrast to its European name – which means Romanic Riesling or Olaszrizling in Hungarian – this variety of wine is neither Italian nor Riesling. Its origin is still disputed; however, we know that it has been brought to the Carpathian Basin from our Western European neighbours. Although it shares part of its name with Rhine Riesling, they are genetically unrelated. Having found its perfect home in Central Europe, the variety is grown by several wine regions in Hungary. For most Hungarians, the name Olaszrizling has become synonymous with white wine. Suitable to produce light white wines as well as full-bodied items with long ageing potential…Or for a nice spritzer in summer!

This wines' strong characteristics is a really good pair to any longer-cooked pork or even beef dish, which have sides with heavier texture.
